Keffer Development has been developing custom software since our inception in 1994.  The software we design and develop is driven by the needs of our clients, and ClienTrek has been the epitome of this process.  Currently, our ClienTrek users group meets every quarter to review ongoing needs and requests.  During these meetings our users are also able to discuss issues and questions pertaining to day-to-day operations, their dealing with providers and issues related to state reporting that are outside the scope of our software.

“What is my return on this investment?”

The ROI for ClienTrek is two-fold.  On one hand, the cost savings can be calculated related to staffing costs, either through time savings or not having to increase staff.  The second, and harder to pinpoint piece, is the intrinsic value of having all, or most, of your information in the same place, stored in a manner that makes retrieving and reporting easier and faster.   

“How will ClienTrek save me time and money?”

Our belief is that both time and money can be saved by using ClienTrek.  Eliminating double, and in some cases triple, entering of information will save significant time.  Cost savings will be realized through the time saved for staff salaries and benefits.   

An example of the time/money savings built into ClienTrek is our primary business rule; “catch data errors before they get into the system”.   In our PA-POMS data entry, we have built in a large number of error checks, and continue to refine them as the state requirements change.  Part of this process is a “trial run” for each POMS submission before the file(s) required for the state are produced.  This process and the error checks save significant time finding, correcting and resubmitting errors returned by the state.
